Mountjoy Chilton Medley LLP, a Kentucky-based full-service accounting firm, was listed as the 9th-largest accounting firm in the Southeast by Accounting Today, the leading national publication covering the accounting profession. The Southeast region comprises Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. MCM was the only Kentucky firm named in the publication’s annual Top 100 Firms issue and was also named to the magazine’s list of “Firms to Watch.”
“Obviously we’re proud to be mentioned alongside some of the largest and most prestigious accounting firms in the country,” said Mike Mountjoy, co-managing partner.
MCM attributes the firm’s recognition in Accounting Today to the recent growth in the financial institutions, insurance, healthcare and manufacturing practice sectors.
MCM employs more than 200 professionals, including more than 100 CPAs, and has offices in Louisville, Lexington, Covington and Frankfort.
