Kevin’s extensive international tax experience includes inbound/outbound investments by manufacturing, distribution, service companies, etc. This experience takes into consideration the business objectives of clients, short and long term goals, implication of these goals to the functional areas of tax, accounting, human resources, treasury, etc., which lead to recommending the most tax efficient legal structure to achieve business objectives. He has assisted clients in establishing operations in Western and Eastern Europe, South Africa, Asia Pacific and the Americas. Kevin is also a specialist in international tax strategies, serving multinational clients to determine near and long-term international tax planning needs and then deliver timely and innovative ideas for their consideration. Additionally, Kevin has significant experience analyzing, designing, and implementing tax best practices and working with senior executives on foreign assignments preparing host country tax compliance and gross-up calculations. His indirect tax experience includes value-added tax (VAT) and goods & services taxes (GST), excise & customs duties, and employer related employee taxes.
