Kourtney has more than 20 years of accounting and auditing experience, specializing in Risk Management & Advisory Services. Kourtney serves as the Director of MCM’s Risk Advisory Services group, leading the firm’s System & Organization Controls (SOC), Business Process & Internal Controls, Information Technology Advisory and Business Intelligence Teams. Her career has been focused on helping management and boards of directors develop processes to monitor and manage risk. She is experienced in conducting financial risk assessments, outsourcing and co-sourcing internal audit activities, assessing third-party and vendor risk management, and conducting operational efficiency studies for a wide range of industries including healthcare, not-for-profit, government, and manufacturing and distribution. She has also assisted public companies with evaluation of controls required by the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act, including initial implementation of SOX programs.
